① QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications are based upon the ① Immigration Laws per country and ② the employer’s requirements. To clarify, the general qualifications are not determined solely by UNO.Scroll down below to see the qualifications per country.

① JAPAN

The qualifications for Japan depend on the type of visa in the job order. Please note that if you did not finish your three-year TITP contract, you can only apply for TITP positions.

For SSW (i), there are three types of applicants for this position: (a) first time applicants, (b) TITP Graduate applying for the same skill, and (c) TITP Graduate applying for a different skill.The contract duration is indefinite and depends upon the worker and their employer.For (a) SSW first time applicants, you need to take the prometric exam in your desired skill category, and a JLPT N4 or JFT N4 Exam with a score of above 200. For (b) TITP Graduates applying to the same skill category you need to present your OTIT or JITCO Certificate, Senmonkyuu, and JLPT N4 (if you do not have Senmkonkyuu or unless requested by employer). For (c) TITP Graduates targeting a different skill category, you also need to take the prometric exam in your desired skill category and present your OTIT or JITCO Certificate, and JLPT N4 or JFT with a score above 200.For example:
▷ If you worked as a welder during your TITP contract and want to apply as an SSW welder, you do not need to take the Prometric Exam.
▷ If you were a farmer during your TITP contract and want to become an SSW Care Worker, you’ll need to take the Prometric Exam.

① If you do not have enough experience, our staff will give you the advice to gain at least six (6) months of local experience. Japanese companies hire new workers every year and our staff will let you know when the next job openings are expected.
② If you are not qualified, our staff will give other suggestions and advice to help you increase your chances of working abroad.

Our Sourcing Staff will check if there is an available job order or if the skill is for manpower pooling.
① If there is a job order, you will move to Level 2 and be endorsed to the Recruitment Staff for the Qualifying Interview.
② For manpower pooling, your application will be given priority when the next job order is available.

What are SBY Modules?
The Study By Yourself (SBY) Module discusses the basic things you should know when studying the Japanese Language. You must focus on Hiragana, Katakana, and How to Introduce Yourself in Japanese!

If you are qualified to apply for Japan, you will get an UNO Exclusive Study-By-Yourself Module 1 to review basic Japanese. After studying, the Recruitment Staff will assess you during Level 2: the Qualifying Interview. The test will be based on what you learned in Module 1.Here's some free modules from UNO Overseas Placement Inc.

The SBY Module helps you to get ready for your Japanese employer interview and show your best skills and qualities.Remember, introducing yourself in Japanese can be helpful, especially when preparing for your final interview, as it makes you more memorable to employers. It's also a step toward starting your journey in learning a new language!

1. INITIAL SCREENING

Matapos ipasa ang mga requirements at makapasa sa initial interview at screening, ikaw ay maaaring ilagay sa dalawang kategorya:Manpower Pooling: Isa ka sa mga unang tatawagan ni UNO sa panahon na mayroon nang active job order.Active Job Order: Kung TITP, ikaw ay bibigyan ng isang Basic Japanese Study By Yourself (SBY) Module na kinakailangan aralin bago sumailalim sa Level 2: Qualifying Interview at Exam na isasagawa ng Recruitment Staff.Aralin: Basic Japanese Study By Yourself Module. Ang nilalaman nito ay Self-Introduction (Jikoshoukai), Hiragana, Katakana, at Numbers.Hindi nakapasa? Magbibigay ang Sourcing Staff ng feedback at advice sa mga susunod na hakbang na maaaring gawin.


2. QUALIFYING INTERVIEW

Matapos aralin ang SBY Module at matanggap ang karagdagang impormasyon mula sa Recruitment Staff, ikaw ay sasailalim sa:▷ Basic Japanese SBY Module Exam (TITP Only)▷ Employer Standards (English, Math, & Other Exams)▷ Qualifying InterviewPasado? Congratulations! Kinakailangang ipasa ang mga sumusunod na dokumento:
1. Medical Certificate (Fit To Work)
2. Skills Test Video Recording
3. Original Documents
Huwag kalimutang dumalo ng Interview Briefing na isasagawa ng Recruitment Staff kung saan ibibigay ang instructions at mga paalala ukol sa oras at petsa ng interview, mga dapat dalhin at ang kasuotan.Maaaring pumunta sa kahit anong clinic na accredited ng DOH at DMW para sa medical exam.
Huwag kalimutan i-print ang iyong picture na nagtratrabaho sa skill na in-applyan upang maipakita sa employer sa Level 3: Employer Interview.
Hinihikayat namin na magsalita gamit ang Wikang Ingles sa Employer Interview. Ang kadalasang kasuotan ay white polo shirt, jeans o maong, at rubber shoes.Hinihikayat na ihanda ang iyong Jikoshoukai o Self-Introduction sa Wikang Ingles at Wikang Hapon!


3. EMPLOYER INTERVIEW

Kinakailangan dumating ng maaga sa UNO Office sa araw ng iyong interview para sa Pre-Interview Final Briefing.
Jikoshoukai Checking: I-dodouble check ng Recruitment Staff ang iyong Japanese Self-Introduction o Jikoshoukai bago humarap sa employer. Kasabay nito ang Final Briefing at ang pagbibigay ng huling paalala.
Trade Test: Ito ay depende sa employer. Mayroong mga skills na kung saan ikaw ay pupunta ng Trade Test Center upang gawin ang skill sa harap ng employer. Halimbawa: welding at spray painting.Hindi nakapasa? Magbibigay ang Recruitment Staff ng feedback at advice sa mga susunod na hakbang. Maaaring pumili kung (a) nais maisama sa susunod na line-up sa ibang employer o (b) i-pull out ang iyong mga dokumento.


4. JAPANESE LANGUAGE &
UNO TRAININGS

Selected? Congratulations! Dumalo sa Next Steps Orientation na isinasagawa ng Training Staff. Kasabay nito ang pag-ayos ng inyong mga dokumento na ipapasa sa Japan Immigration.Bilang TITP (Technical Intern Trainee/First Timer) na na-select ikaw ay sasailalim sa 3-4 buwan ng Japanese Language Training kasabay ang mga UNO Trainings at Orientations.Sasagutin ng employer ang iyong tuition fee sa Japanese Language Training na isasagawa ng Japanese Language School na pinili ng employer. Ngunit, hindi sasagutin ni employer ang iyong mga personal na gastusin habang nag-aaral tulad ng pamasahe, pagkain, at iba pa.➀ Level 1: Basic
➁ Level 2: Intensive
➂ Level 3: Advance & Assessment
Bilang SSW (Specified Sklled Worker) at bilang Engineer na na-select, ikaw ay sasailalim sa ilang mga UNO Trainings at Orientations.UNO Trainings

● Encounter (Retreat)
● Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS)
Bilang TITP, SSW, at Engineer:
▷ Kailangang ipasa ang updated na resulta ng inyong medical examination kasabay ng mga orihinal na dokumento sa Documentations Staff.


5. DISPATCH & DEPLOYMENT

Bago ang iyong flight, ikaw ay sasailalim sa:Online Dispatch Orientation: Itinuturo ang mga online forms na kailangan punan 24 hrs. bago umalis ng Pilipinas, mga paalala sa araw at oras ng flight, mga restriksyon sa bagahe, kung sino ang sasalubong sa iyo pagdating sa Japan at iba pa.Final Dispatch Orientation: Ito ay isinasagawa sa UNO Office isa o dalawang araw bago ang iyong flight. Dito magbibigay ng mga huling paalala mula sa UNO at sa iyong employer.Pre-Departure & Post-Arrival Monitoring: May nakatalagang UNO Staff na magmomonitor sa iyong pagalis sa Pilipinas at pagdating sa Japan.Kinakailangang magbigay ng update sa group chat ukol sa inyong status bago sumakay ng eroplano at pagdating sa inyong destinasyon upang masigurado ang inyong kalagayan.


6. WORK ABROAD & MONITORING

Dito na ang tunay na simula ng pagtupad ng iyong mga pangarap. Sa loob ng iyong kontrata hanggang sa iyong ligtas na pag-uwi, ikaw ay kukumustahin ng Monitoring Team isang beses o higit pa sa loob ng kada-tatlong buwan. Ito ay upang masigurado ang iyong kalusugan at kalagayan sa ibang bansa, alinsunod sa guidelines ng Department of Migrant Workers.▷ Ang Monitoring Team ay nagbibigay ng tulong kung mayroong katanungan sa mga company rules, at sa pang araw-araw na gawain tulad ng pamimili sa supermarket at iba pa. Sila ay nakaantabay hanggang sa ligtas mong pag-uwi sa Pilipinas matapos ang iyong kontrata.▷ Ang Welfare Team ay nakaantabay upang magbigay ng tulong sa mga OFW na mayroong tanong ukol sa kontrata. Ang layunin ng Welfare Team ay masunod ang batas ng Pilipinas at maprotektahan ang interes at karapatan ng bawat manggagawa.Sa iyong ika-anim na buwan ng pagtatrabaho sa Japan bilang TITP worker, kailangan mong sumailalim sa Japanese Language Exam ayon sa gobyerno ng Japan. Ilan na rito ang iba’t ibang level ng Skills Test at Japanese Language Proficiency Level A1 o N5.Hindi nakapasa? Ikaw ay maaaring hindi na magpatuloy sa ikalawang taon ng iyong kontrata bilang TITP worker.Ang mga nakatapos ng kontrata bilang TITP ay maaaring bumalik sa Pilipinas o pumirma ng bagong kontrata bilang Specified Skilled Worker (SSW).
